About Astra
She is a controller in Valorant. Ghanaian by ethnicity, this character is full of surprises and has some unique abilities. She is here to change the game plan in Valorant as she harnesses the cosmos’ energies to reshape herself on the battlefield. You will always find her one move ahead of her enemies as she possesses a knack for deep strategic foresight.
SPECIAL ABILITIES
Q – NOVA PULSE
Nova pulse has a concussing ability, and a star is activated to detonate Nova pulse. The nurse is charged for a bit of time, and then it is struck, resulting in a concussion of the players on the field. But Nova Pulse does not harm its enemies.
Nebula refers to smoke, and a star is activated and transformed into a Nebula. By using F on a star, you dissipate it. At the place where the star is activated, the dissipation forms a fake Nebula there for a short period before it is returned to its location.

C – GRAVITY WELL
By activating a star, a Gravity well is formed. Before exploding, the Gravity Well pulls all the enemies into it. That makes all the nearby players vulnerable, as they are left with no choice but to be a part of the Gravity Well explosion.
To enter the Astral form, where you can place the star with Primary Fire, you first need to activate X. You can reactivate the stars later by transforming them into a gravity well, nova pulse, or a nebula. Astral form is the ability to interface. The cosmic divide can connect the selected two points.

Appearance and Personality
As Astra Valorant is a Ghanian, her skin tone is dark yet vibrant. She wears her hair in a braided mohawk style. The braids have gold beads that match her golden jewelry. Apart from this, she has multiple earrings on her left hair and wears a big hoop pair.
She is fond of purple, and her outfit comprises various colors such as bright blue, purple, and gold. Also, her shoes and jeans are of the same color (purple) with metallic kneecaps.
By nature, she is a joyful agent who believes in saying what’s in her heart. She doesn’t like to hold back because of her straightforward personality. She says that some might find her ideas irrational, but she can see what others cannot because of her cosmic powers.
Playing Tactics with Astra
Her array of tricks can be used to her team’s advantage. She always plans the best for her team and is responsible for critical decisions and creating prime opportunities for her allies. You can get the most out of Astra by her Gravity well. If you are her enemy and must pass through the violet wall, your life is at high risk.
Even though she is not a defender, she can still boost her team’s defensive potential with her Cosmic Divide ability. When activated, the ability can connect two points Astra selects for 21 seconds. Furthermore, as Astra is an excellent controller, she can easily manipulate the battle flow via the map as much as she can.
Astra Team Comps
The best team comps for Astra are Chamber, Sova, Viper, and Jett. Her gravity well complements Chamer’s sniper abilities. The newest addition, Kay/O, gets support from the pro player, Astra, to obliterate the enemy team.
The best thing about her is that her abilities make her an excellent choice to settle with almost any character. But she needs a good team composition to effectively take down the enemy team. For her team to win, Astra needs to be the mastermind and the dominating force.
